Join Our Team as a Warehouse Worker - Wholesale Floral Market!

We are seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to become part of our vibrant team at our fresh floral wholesale market & warehouse located in Beard (ACT). This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills can make a difference!

Position Details:

• Type: Casual, ongoing role
• Start Time: 7 AM daily
• Hours: 4-5 days per week, 6-8 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage stock control and movement, ensuring accurate stock take paperwork.
• Fulfill and verify incoming and outgoing orders for both customers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with delivery drivers to coordinate stock logistics.
• Assist with receiving and unloading deliveries.
• Conduct stock counts and rotation to maintain freshness.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold high workplace health and safety (WHS) standards.
• Undertake additional tasks as directed by management.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience in warehousing, wholesale, or a market environment is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with solid numeracy abilities.
• A valid driver's license is required; a current forklift ticket is a plus.
• Reliability and a positive work ethic are essential.
• Candidates must be physically fit and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work comfortably within a cold-room environment.
