The Opportunity
As the Senior Cyber Analyst, you’ll lead the charge on cyber uplift projects — from Essential 8 maturity improvements to the rollout of security tools, policies, and assurance frameworks. You’ll partner with technical experts, project leads and senior stakeholders to embed security by design, ensuring alignment to ISM 18:2022 and industry best practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering and managing complex cyber projects and initiatives end-to-end
• Overseeing implementation of controls across cloud, endpoint, and network environments
• Conducting threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and risk reviews
• Driving adoption of security frameworks including the Essential 8 and Zero Trust
• Engaging stakeholders across government and industry to uplift awareness and compliance

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in Cyber Security operations, incident response, and assurance
• Strong understanding of the ACSC Essential 8, IS18:2022, and security governance
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, Sentinel, PAM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
• Solid technical grounding in networking, infrastructure, and cloud security
• Exceptional communication, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (highly regarded)
