Warrnambool City Council is seeking a dedicated and skilled Safety & Risk Advisor to join our Safety and Risk Team.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the delivery of Health, Safety, Risk and Injury Management services across Council. Working closely with teams from all areas of the organisation, you’ll help coordinate safety processes, manage documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
• Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• The ability to build effective working relationships across different teams and departments
• A collaborative, problem-solving mindset
• An interest in workplace safety and a commitment to supporting a positive safety culture
Technical qualifications are not essential — this role is ideal for someone with strong coordination and communication skills who enjoys working across diverse teams to achieve great outcomes.

The Benefits
Temporary full time position until August 2026, with a salary range of $76,310 - $86,749 per annum. Part Time Hours will be considered for this position.
