Casual position available in the kitchen for cook and or Kitchen hand.

Up to 38hrs available to work as a kitchen hand/prep cook.

Food handlers certificate is a bonus as some food prep will be required for this role.

Putting deliveries away, cleaning the coolroom, rotating stock.

Assisting the chefs with changing the fryer oil, deep cleaning on a weekly basis.

About the Role Cook

Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.

Must display excellent prep, cooking, and plating skills.

Strong emphasis on quality, and consistency of dishes.

A sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene.

Ability to handle large service numbers.

A team spirit, a bright and positive demeanor.

Able to work extra days during peak school holidays

Due to the nature of the business it is essential the potential candidates are flexible with working hours. Our core business is providing the best customer service to our clients and this role is essential in setting the scene for exceptional customer service. Our venue operates 5 days per week, 11:30am until 10pm. During School holidays the venue operates 7 days per week.

The successful candidates may be required to work morning, afternoon and evening shifts, including on weekends depending on scheduled structured rosters, functions and events.
