About the role

Curious Kids is expanding, we’re excited to welcome two enthusiastic and dedicated team members — a qualified Early Childhood Educator and a Trainee Educator to our exceeding service in Flinders, NSW.

As a full-time Educator, you’ll play a key role in shaping young minds, supporting each child’s growth and development, and contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

As a Trainee Educator, you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the early childhood sector while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. You’ll be mentored by experienced educators who will support your learning every step of the way.

What you'll be doing

Assisting experienced educators in the planning and implementation of engaging educational programs for children aged 2-5 years

Participating in daily routines and activities, such as supervising play, role modelling, and ensuring the health and safety of all children

Providing emotional support and guidance to children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development

Child safe service, with a dedicated commitment to Child safe standards, ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children in your care

Building strong, respectful relationships with children and their families

Trainee - Attending paid training and professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Educator Role

We’re flexible on qualifications, whether you hold an ECT, Diploma, or Certificate III, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll join our team as an additional educator, with the opportunity to learn, grow, and make a real impact.

We’re passionate about supporting our team, our service encourages and funds upskilling and professional development to help you reach your full potential (if needed)

Trainee Role

Bring your enthusiasm for learning and a genuine interest in Early Childhood Education, we’ll support you as you work towards your nationally recognised qualification.

You’ll need a current Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).

For Both Roles

A genuine passion for working with young children and a strong commitment to their safety, wellbeing, and development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

A flexible and proactive attitude, ready to thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment.
