The opportunity

Join the team at ACO Floor Coverings' as an Apprentice Floor Installer. In this full-time role, you will be based in Ipswich, QLD 4305 and learn the skills to become an expert in floor installation.

Key responsibilities

Assist qualified floor installers with the installation of a variety of floor coverings including carpet and vinyl

Prepare sub-floors by cleaning, levelling and priming as required

Measure and cut floor coverings to size

Safely operate tools and equipment used in floor installation

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Complete all tasks to a high standard and in line with industry standards and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Strong practical and manual skills

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work precisely

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Commitment to learning and developing your skills through an apprenticeship

A positive, hardworking attitude and willingness to get the job done
