Brooks Mechanical is looking for an experienced and safety-focused Auto Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll take the lead on installing, maintaining, and repairing high-voltage equipment across our projects, ensuring reliability and safety in some of WA's toughest environments. You'll bring your trade qualifications and mine site experience to a role where no two days are the same.

What You'll Be Doing

Auto electrical diagnostics, repairs & installations

Air-con servicing & repairs

Performing regular testing of electrical systems to identify faults and ensure equipment is operating within specifications.

Extensive experience in reading & interpreting electrical schematics.

Implementing and managing the procedures for safely de-energising equipment, which includes procedures for locking out, tagging, and testing to confirm de-energisation.

Maintaining detailed records and documenting completed work, including safety incidents and hazards encountered, to contribute to ongoing safety management.

What You'll Bring

Cert III in Electrotechnology

Refrigerant Handling Licence

Minimum 2+ years of mine site experience required

Current valid C-class driver's licence (HR, LF and HC desirable)

Ability to work independently in remote and challenging conditions

Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
