Due to recent growth, we have an opportunity for a Fly-in, Fly-out Auto Electrician to join a busy team in Port Hedland.

Flights from Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, or Perth.

Key responsibilities include:

Diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of truck and trailer auto-electrical systems, ABS/EBS systems, 24V, and Air Conditioning systems

Working in a team to ensure the timely repair of trucks and trailers

Practice your ‘duty of care’ at all times to ensure the health and safety of yourself and others in the workplace as per the Work Health and Safety Act 2020

About you:

Electrical trade qualification is essential

Sound knowledge of electrical systems on heavy diesel engines and drivetrains, including diagnostics

Previous experience working on Kenworth / Mack / Volvo prime movers (desirable)

Demonstrable experience repairing electrical systems on trailing equipment.

Knowledge of EBS systems used on trailers (desirable)

Effective written and verbal communication

Demonstrates honesty and integrity

High level of attention to detail

Ability to show initiative and proactivity

​Successful candidates must be able to obtain a National Police Clearance, pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen.
