We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s HR Truck Driver, you will operate various waste collection vehicles in the Canberra area, from our Hume depots.

On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to service multiple customer sites. You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

You will enjoy early starts (4-6am) – as well as great pay rates, overtime and BONUS

If you’ve got your HR licence, we can teach you the rest!

ABOUT YOU

Current HR license

Truck driving experience is preferred (however, full training will be provided)

Turn up on time and can be relied on to get the job done

You can follow a driver run sheet, but you’re also able to think on your feet and work out the best way to complete your run

Be the face of JJ’s for our customers; so being approachable and professional comes naturally to you

Safety matters to you - you follow the rules

You’re happy to complete a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test

Provide a 5-year traffic history at the interview
