This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly innovative and fast-paced trading firm as a Corporate Actions Associate. Based in the heart of Sydney's CBD, this full-time role will see you playing a crucial part in the firm's trading operations.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and process corporate actions, including dividends, mergers, rights issues and stock splits, across a diverse portfolio of financial instruments

Process mandatory and voluntary events (dividends, splits, rights/tenders, offers, mergers, schemes of arrangement, buy‑backs, DRPs), validating against issuer documentation, exchange notices, and custodian communications.

Support dividend capture/optimization and related trade capture; coordinate closely with Securities Lending and Trading.

Ensure timely and accurate updates to client positions and trading systems

Liaise with custodians, registrars and other third parties to gather and validate corporate actions data

Identify and escalate any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate stakeholders

Maintain detailed records and documentation of all corporate actions activity

Assist with related trading and operational tasks as required

Experience:

3–5 years’ hands‑on Corporate Actions experience within a broker, bank, hedge fund, or asset manager, with deep APAC market knowledge.

Advanced Excel (lookups, pivots, reconciliation tooling); exposure to SQL/VBA/Python is a plus.

In‑depth understanding of mandatory and voluntary event mechanics and APAC market infrastructures.

Solid grasp of settlements and securities lending touchpoints; confident navigating time‑critical exchange and custodian cut‑offs.

Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail; proven ability to operate under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

Clear stakeholder communication; comfortable supporting traders and operations peers in a front‑office setting
