Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Fulltime Storeman to join the logistics team at the Wangara Warehouse/Head office.

As Storeman, you’ll report to the Warehouse Supervisor and be responsible for daily good in, goods out and some occasional work to create unique orders by modifying/cutting down of some of the product lines.

This warehouse holds a product range for Bunnings, builders and hardware chains with a timber relica/replacement product. Our client is in the process of moving (growing) into and may see a warehouse move in the next 2yrs.

Key Responsibilities

Daily warehouse operations - stock Management

Inventory control/container hire-dehire

Conduct regular stocktakes and ensure real-time data accuracy

Coordinate deliveries and manage transport carriers via integrated logistics platforms

Pick/pack, receivals, and container put-away, stacking packing strapping of products

Ensure safety compliance and VOC for high-risk equipment - forklift

Attention to detail for lean, efficient, and organised warehouse

Make up special orders - cut down of lengths of perma composites into specific lengths

What You’ll Bring

12+ months experience in warehousing/logistics

Hands-on experience with RF scanning, and WMS platforms

Forklift ticket and experience

Strong communication and team motivation skills

Solutions-focused mindset with a can-do attitude

Some Trade skills in using band saws will be applied in the special orders required from time to time
