Boat Fitout

Working in the fit out department at Reef Marine you will be supporting the team fitting out aluminium and fibreglass trailer boat packages. The fit out team are responsible for installation, wiring, plumbing, and fitting of outboard motors and all accessories. We are seeking candidates who take pride in their work and enjoy being a part of an enthusiastic team. This position is Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm, full-time.

To work in this area you will have experience using hand tools. You may have experience fitting automotive accessories or caravan fit out or in another environment that has required good hand fitting and assembly skills. You will be a person who enjoys a variety of tasks and has an eye for detail.

The successful candidate will be trained as they learn the various tasks. This will include:

Fitting outboard motors and marine electronics

Fitting wiring looms, lighting, electrical accessories in boats

Essential Requirements

You will be physically fit and able to step in and out of boats .

You will be reliable.

You will be able to communicate well with others and work well in a team

Your resume will show a work history that demonstrates a good work ethic in your previous roles.

You will have a manual drivers licence. A boat licence would be an advantage but not essential.

We are a small team of 20 employees working closely together in a fast-paced environment. We have a fully equipped and modern Service Department with the latest test and service equipment.
