About the role

Little Scribblers ELC's is seeking a skilled and experienced Centre Leader/Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our early learning centre in Ashfield, NSW. As the Centre Leader/Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care, education and wellbeing for the children in our centre. This is a full-time position and you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of educators in delivering exceptional learning experiences.

What you'll be doing

Provide strong leadership and direction to the centre's team of educators, guiding them in the delivery of high-quality programs and activities

Develop and implement engaging educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards

Oversee the day-to-day management of the centre, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the local community to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment

Monitor the centre's performance and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance the quality of care and education

Actively participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of industry changes and best practices

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the childcare industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and team members

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively

Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards

Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality care and education for children

Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children Check
