The role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients across various industries
• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for a range of entity types
• Assisting senior accountants and managers with tax and business advisory work
• Delegating tasks and reviewing work completed by junior staff
• Providing guidance and oversight to graduates as part of your leadership development
• Contributing to advisory services tailored to the needs of your client base

What they are looking for:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Australian Public Practice
• CA or CPA qualified, or progressing towards completion
• Someone who actually wants to help clients and teammates
• Proficiency in Xero (essential) and MYOB (preferred)
• Familiarity with Australian tax legislation including Div 7A, CGT, FBT, and general compliance
• Experience managing or preparing reports for large group structures
• Payroll experience (advantageous)
• High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
• A proactive, self-starting attitude and commitment to client service excellence.
