Our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation whose focus is to provide support to Australian's living with disability, require the services of a Senior AWS Cloud Solution Architect.

Duties of the Senior AWS Cloud Solution Architect

• Deliver high quality solution architectures and designs that are fit for business purpose and align solutions with Agency goals and objectives;
• Help to develop and ensure compliance with client reference models, principles, policies, standards & strategic ICT roadmaps;
• Engage with the business and project team to understand the tactical & strategic objectives & requirements;
• Engage with the enterprise architects, solution leads, business representatives, development team & other relevant stakeholders to ensure solution alignment across domains;
• Provide technical oversight and facilitating complex issues resolution arising during project delivery;
• Leading & deliver coherent technical solutions & technical documentation across the domain.

Skills and Experience Required

• Extensive solutions architecture experience with broad technical knowledge, including demonstratable experience leading the design of complex enterprise class platforms, & significant experience with AWS Cloud;
• Extensive experience in solution architecture in the Digital Channels domain, incorporating both client and server for mobile & web applications, and complex enterprise-wide integrations;
• Awareness and experience in implementing modern identity and cyber security solutions and protocols applicable to large scale mobile & web applications;
• Experience in the adoption, creation and utilisation of enterprise class RESTful web services; integration with Web Content Management Engines; CRM & Mulesoft integration; feature flagging; GraphQL (desired);
• Bachelor of Science/Business in Information Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification (desired);
• TOGAF certified or equivalent IT architectural qualification; AWS Cloud architecture certifications (desired).
