Assist with serial interface integration (e.g., UART, CAN) by testing and resolving hardware-software interaction problems, in collaboration with hardware teams.
Perform device-level operations and firmware updates via SSH on Unix-based edge gateways (e.g., Raspberry Pi, custom Linux boards).
Update and maintain clear technical documentation
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Hands-on experience supporting embedded software, ideally with MicroPython or Python-based IoT devices.
Working knowledge of MicroPython, basic embedded networking, and serial interfaces (e.g., UART, CAN).
Familiarity with state machines, Git/GitHub, and simple testing practices.
