We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Service Manager to support the Leadership Team in guiding and mentoring a team of professional Educators. We are seeking an exceptional leader with positive personality that will build and connect with our children, families, and team. Our Assistant Service Manager must be passionate about leading by example and have a vision and expectation for quality care that goes above and beyond the standards of Early Childhood.

Skills and Attributes
· Ability to deliver high quality early education and care.
· Ability to advocate for children and act in their best interests.
· Ability to support the Service Manager to ensure the service meets compliance obligations by understanding the relevant legislation, service policies and procedures.
· Ability to apply effective communication and leadership strategies to engage educators and enable them to work collaboratively, providing support and guidance along the way.
· Ability to support and implement strategies that enhance inclusion regardless of the child and family circumstances.
· Ability to work with the Service Manager to ensure the Service is making improvements and working through their Quality Improvement Plan to ensure exceeding practice is occurring.
· Ability to build and form relationships with children, families, and educators.
Qualifications
· Diploma in Early Childhood or higher (recognised by ACECQA)
· Experience as an Assistant Service Manager
· Experience supporting and mentoring Educators.
· Experience making changes and improvements towards exceeding practice.
