The role

As a Driller's Offsider, you will be an integral part of the drilling team, assisting the Driller in the safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment on construction sites in and around Brisbane. This is a casual role, offering flexible work hours to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Driller in the setup, operation and maintenance of drilling equipment

Ensure the work area is kept clean, tidy and free of hazards

Monitor and maintain drilling fluid levels and quality

Operate ancillary equipment such as pumps, generators and compressors

Communicate effectively with the Driller and wider construction team

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Driller's Offsider or similar role in the construction industry

Strong practical skills and the ability to operate a variety of power tools and machinery

Good communication and teamwork skills

Attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Willingness to work in a physical, outdoor environment

Relevant construction industry certifications
