About the role
GLCH provides social support activity programs for specific groups within the community, currently including aged clients, clients with additional needs, and clients with dementia.
These programs provide opportunities for social interaction, physical activity and participation in a range of activities to maintain or improve each client’s independence and connection to the community and maximise their quality of life.
This role is responsible for coordinating social support operational programming, delegating tasks to activity assistants, and managing administration functions of the program.
Skills & Experience
Qualification (minimum Certificate IV) in a relevant discipline such as Nursing, Community Care, Aged Care, Diversional Therapy, Allied Health Assistance or Disabilities, Administration, Leadership and/or experience in similar role.
You will also need demonstrated experience planning and facilitating groups and programs and leading a team.
