This position must be based in Sydney and offers a hybrid working environment.

As the incumbent, you will join this leading Australian Banks' second line Risk function where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the banks' Capital Management processes. You will achieve this by partnering with the institutions' Treasury along with other key Risk stakeholders to provide line two oversight, guidance, and review and challenge the banks' end-to-end Capital processes ensuring adherence to the institutions' strategy and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Treasury in managing capital adequacy across the group through identifying, measuring and monitoring key risks pertaining to capital
• Conduct review and oversight of the banks' capital management process including independent review and challenging of ICAAP
• Advise on key capital risks and their drivers to internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous development of the Capital Risk Frameworks and Policies
• Review and contribute to papers for the Executive Risk committee, Board, and regulators
• Lead, coach and uplift the skills of more junior team members

Requirements:

• At least 9 years' Financial Services experience with exposure to Regulatory Capital and Finance
• Strond expertise of Capital Adequacy regulations such as APS 110, APS 111, APS 222, and APS 330
