Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the security fencing industry, is seeking a Draftsperson to assist with steel fabrication drawings for fencing, gates, and related structural components, following continued growth and increased project demand.

Role Details:

• Casual contract, approx. 2 days per week
• Opportunity for additional hours as required
• Based in Malaga, with flexibility to work either from the office or from home
• $50-$60/hr + super depending on experience

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing fabrication drawings for steel fencing, gates, and structural items
• Interpreting site sketches, dimensions, shop layouts and job specs
• Making updates to existing drawings where required
• Liaising with internal staff to clarify job requirements
• Following internal processes for file and document handling

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience preparing steel fabrication drawings or similar industry
• Able to interpret plans and communicate clearly with workshop or site teams
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and a team player
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
• Valid Driver's License and reliable car
• Full Australian Working Rights
