Pharmacist Position – Elliston & Lock, SA | Coastal & Country Lifestyle

Location: Based in Elliston, SA with regular travel to Lock, SA
Position: Casual Pharmacist. Approx. 25-30 hours per week, ideally for 6 months with potential to extend
Start Date: Preferably January 2026 - Flexible
Remuneration: Competitive rural salary ($50-60/hour) + Travel allowance

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Pharmacist to support our pharmacies in both Elliston and Lock, two friendly regional towns on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula.

About the Role:

Provide pharmacist services at Elliston and Lock pharmacies (travel required – kms/travel time compensated).

Dispense and supply medications accurately and efficiently.

Provide professional healthcare advice and medication counselling.

Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other health professionals.

Support community health initiatives and deliver exceptional patient care.

Manage dispensary operations, including stock control and PBS claims.

What We’re Looking For:

AHPRA-registered Pharmacist (newly registered encouraged to apply). - MANDATORY

Willingness to travel regularly between Elliston and Lock, approx. 100 km apart – generally once per week, twice per week once a month.

A genuine passion for community care.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe dispensing practices.

Ability to work independently and within a small team.

Experience with Z Dispense or similar software - preferred but not essential.

Completion of an immunization training course and ability to administer vaccines – preferred but not essential.
