About the role
Better Together Therapy is seeking a talented Clinical Psychology Registrar or Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Essendon West on a part-time basis (3 days). Our clinic is multidisciplinary, offering both psychology and speech pathology services across the lifespan. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the mental health and wellbeing of our clients in a collaborative and supportive environment.
We are a neuroaffirming practice and welcome applications from clinicians with an interest in neurodivergence and supporting neurodivergent clients in a strengths-based, inclusive, and respectful manner. We see many young clients in the clinic (under 25 years old), and so an interest working in this area is favourable (but not essential).
What you'll be doing
Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and developing individualised treatment plans. We service clients across the lifespan, so will ensure that we match your clients in accordance with your expertise and preferences.
Providing evidence-based psychological interventions and therapies
Collaborating with other allied health professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients
Maintaining detailed and accurate client records in accordance with professional and organisational standards
Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices (including in-house professional development!)
What we're looking for
Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Demonstrated experience in the provision of evidence-based psychological assessments and therapies
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide empathetic, client-centred care
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of the practice
What we offer
At Better Together Therapy, we are dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of our team. We offer a range of benefits, including:
Competitive remuneration
Flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance
Regular supervision and professional development opportunities
A collaborative and supportive team environment, including monthly team meetings and team lunches
Opportunities for career advancement and growth within the practice
