An opportunity has come available for both an experienced Boilermaker/ welder and sheet metal trades person to join our experienced diverse team in Exmouth

Potential opportunities include Exmouth-based workshop positions and the possibility of site-based project work

Competitive rates available based on Experience and skill set

40 Hours per week Mon - Friday with regular overtime available and occasional weekend work

Duties:

carry out fabrication/ welding duties in a workshop environment

structural Steel fabrication, plate work, chutes & pipe fabrication.

sheet metal fabrication, forming and shaping

efficient in the following welding processes FCAW, GMAW, MMAW (TIG experience beneficial)

regular Site work erecting & repairing structures, site welding, repairs & modifications to Marine Vessels, jetties and infrastructure

steel, aluminium and stainless steel fabrication

operating workshop machinery, Press brake, drill press, band saw and forklift

requirements:

hold an Australian recognised Trade certificate

minimum 12 months experience post trade in a workshop environment

must reside or be willing to relocate to Exmouth

be willing to work reasonable overtime when required

be self driven, punctual and reliable

work well in a small team

have the ability to pass weld tests FCAW & MMAW 3G, 2F (BMW only)

you must hold a “C“ Class drivers licence

be willing to complete DAS
