About the Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this full-time, Monday–Friday position plays a key role in driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships. You’ll be responsible for:

Developing and managing a portfolio of assigned accounts

Proactively seeking new customers through outbound calls and occasional store visits

Supporting Senior Account Executives and contributing to national sales objectives

Building long-term relationships with independent pet and aquarium retailers

Analysing sales performance and providing insights to optimise profitability

Assisting with strategic sales initiatives and market share expansion

While this is a national role, the position is primarily office-based at our Narangba Head Office, with some travel required.

About You

We’re looking for someone with enthusiasm, drive, and a genuine passion for pets. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoy connecting with customers to help them succeed.

Ideally, you will have:

Previous experience in sales or account management

A strong interest in pets and/or aquarium fish is highly regarded but not essential

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

A proactive, results-driven mindset

An open driver’s licence

Experience in a wholesale distribution business is highly regarded but not essential. Most importantly, you live and breathe sales numbers and customer satisfaction.
