ALD Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimating and Project Coordinator to support our growing operations and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, sustainable outcomes across our Brisbane, Gold Coast & Northern Queensland to support the commercial fit out and refurbishment sector.

About the Role:

As an Estimating and Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our Queensland team with tender preparation, cost estimation, and project coordination. You’ll collaborate closely with our estimating and operations team and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest environmental and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Attend site inspections to support estimating and project delivery team.

· Support the estimating team with tender submissions. This may include undertaking a bill of quantities (BOQ) take off and scope preparation

· Collaborate and coordinate with other key management teams in terms of project program, handover and project mobilisation and pre-starts

· Assist with contract administration requirements such as variation submissions, progress claims and safety or onboarding documentation.

· Submit RFI’s and manage RFI and other registers relevant to the project.

· Document control management throughout the life cycle of the project.

· Prepare and submit Project Cost reports including cost forecasting and budgets

· Engaging subcontractors which include obtaining subcontractor competitive pricing, negotiation, and procurement.

· Support safety team with associated safety documentation and submissions and site safety walks.

· Attend pre-start site inspections, mobilisation, and weekly subcontractor meetings as required

· Attend networking and team events.

About You

· Previous experience in commercial fit out or commercial construction sector or similar subcontractor roles – Minimum 3 years

· Have knowledge of demolition or similar procurement either at Head Contractor or Subcontractor level.

· Had roles in estimating and project delivery or have had various experience in Estimating, Contracts Administration & Project Management. This will be a multi-faceted role.

· Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

· Ability to reach architectural and structural drawings and support methodology development as required

· Strong attention to detail

· Previous experience an advantage with use of Cubit, Cost X, Plan Swift, Bluebeam or other measuring software (training will be provided)

· Previous experience an advantage with use of platforms such as Procore, Aconex, Estimate One (training will be provided)

· Willing to travel regional QLD or Northern NSW (if required) and some interstate travel maybe required

· Team player and ability to problem solve and think on their feet.

· Ability to work autonomously.

· 6 Day working week or as required – some out of hours may be required pending on project requirements.

· $90-$130K Salary per annum pending experience
