Are you a hardworking and reliable labourer with experience in restoration and asbestos-related work? We are seeking a skilled labourer to join our team, assisting with plumbing projects and asbestos removal tasks in compliance with safety regulations.

About the Role

The Labourer's role is to assist the asbestos and environment teams on site with any ad hoc tasks that may be required. These tasks include, but are not limited to:

Complete mould remediation and decontamination work to relevant standards

Undertake flood restoration works

Support asbestos removal and disposal in accordance with safety protocols

Wear and maintain appropriate PPE, including P3 respirator

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Assist plumbers with installations, maintenance and repairs

Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Work as part of a team to complete projects on time and to high standards

What you bring:

Previous experience in asbestos or mould remediation or restoration works

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Good communication skills

IICRC accreditation a bonus

Essential Criteria:

Asbestos removal ticket (or willingness to obtain)

White/Red Card (Construction Induction)

Manual driver’s licence

Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Working Safely at Heights training

EWP under 11 metres

Permanent work rights in Australia

Police Check
