Salon Lane is currently recruiting for a part-time Events & Marketing Coordinator commencing in November.

With multiple sites in Sydney and Brisbane and more in the pipeline in other states, Salon Lane provides a move-in-ready solution that not only gives hairdressers, beauty therapists and other industry professionals complete control over their business and profits, but also a safe space and support network designed to empower them to become successful entrepreneurs.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you’ll plan and deliver member education and engagement events, support internal company events, and help run always-on marketing and social campaigns. It’s a hands-on role for a creative organiser who loves community, detail and measurable impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Member & Education Events: Plan and execute education and training events for Members as well as local events including new site openings, social gatherings, exhibitions and conferences. Plan calendars, book speakers/educators, run logistics, brief site teams/concierge, manage registrations, capture content, and deliver post-event reporting and improvements.
Company Events: Coordinate team social and education events including sourcing venues and suppliers and managing timelines, budgets and post-event wrap-ups.
Marketing & Content: Support campaigns, produce collateral (flyers, EDMs, on-site signage and social assets). Write short-form copy and member spotlights.
Social Media: Assist with the management of Salon Lane’s social media presence and share events, member and partner generated content to strengthen engagement and brand visibility.
Reporting: Track attendance, feedback and campaign/social metrics. Recommend changes to improve engagement and ROI.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Be able to start in November 2025.
2+ years in events and/or marketing (lifesyle, hair and beauty, education, coworking or hospitality a plus).
Creative and detail-oriented professional with strong storytelling instincts and a passion for community-building.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Comfortable with online software applications including MS Office, Google Workspace, Meta, Slack, Asana (or equivalent) and Canva.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field will be looked upon favourably.
