About the role

Sage restaurant in Broadbeach, QLD is seeking an experienced and driven Full Time Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our popular restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and an outstanding dining experience for our valued customers. What you'll be doing

Effectively manage and lead a team of hospitality professionals, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff

Coordinate and oversee all front-of-house operations, including reservations, seating, and table service

Ensure high standards of customer service and food/beverage quality are consistently maintained

Monitor and control inventory, costs, and budgets to maximise profitability

Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and safety standards

Foster a positive and productive work environment that motivates and develops the team

Collaborate with the culinary team to enhance the dining experience

Actively engage with customers to obtain feedback and address any concerns

Contribute to the overall strategic direction and growth of the restaurant

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar restaurant management role

A minimum of 4-5 years' experience in restaurant management is required

Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams

Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal abilities

Sound financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control

Thorough understanding of food safety, liquor licensing, and other relevant hospitality regulations

Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and profitability

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to exceptional dining experiences
