The Support Officer is responsible for providing a range of administrative, support to the Operations Division. Core functions of the role includes preparation of various correspondence and documentation, records management, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, providing procurement support, scheduling of appointments, monitoring of various inboxes and supporting the team to efficiently resolve issues.
What we are looking for
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-level administrative support within a corporate environment.
- Ability to solve problems based on operational guidelines, knowledge and experience, utilising useful information, looking for underlying causes and suggesting alternative actions to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, exercise attention to detail with initiative and ability to identify routine process improvements.

About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing.
It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
