About the Role We’re partnering with a leading Australian banking client to find an experienced Organisational Development Lead. This is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver enterprise-wide initiatives that build capability, strengthen culture, and enable our people to thrive through change.

You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering sustainable organisational development strategies that align with business objectives. You’ll lead a dedicated portfolio—such as people capability, leadership development, or talent and succession planning—while contributing to broader cultural and capability uplift programs.
This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for someone who brings deep organisational development expertise, strong consulting and relationship-building skills, and a passion for delivering measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve organisational development strategies and programs that enhance capability and performance.
• Conduct organisational assessments and provide evidence-based insights and recommendations.
• Develop and deliver interventions that drive behavioural and mindset shifts to support cultural and operational transformation.
• Partner with senior leaders to build leadership capability and ensure strong sponsorship of change initiatives.
• Create and embed frameworks for talent management, career pathways, and succession planning.
• Collaborate across People & Culture, business units, and project teams to align solutions to organisational goals.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness and impact of development and change initiatives.
• Provide thought leadership by staying current on emerging trends and best practices in organisational development.

About You You are a strategic and pragmatic OD professional with a strong grasp of how culture, leadership, and capability intersect to drive organisational success. You’re confident working in complex, fast-paced environments and can translate strategy into practical, high-impact solutions.

You’ll bring:

• Extensive experience in Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology, or Talent Management roles.
• Proven ability to design and deliver large-scale capability or culture programs.
• Advanced skills in change management, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery.
• Strong business acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent consulting and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Experience within financial services or similarly complex, regulated environments (highly desirable).
