Overview

Green Light Worldwide is seeking an Integration Engineer (Platform Services) to join our dynamic technology team as part of a project-based squad. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure APIs and backend integrations that connect complex digital systems across enterprise environments.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enable seamless data exchange between customer-facing applications, backend platforms, and third-party services. The ideal candidate is hands-on, collaborative, and passionate about delivering robust, cloud-native integration solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Define and manage OpenAPI specifications for integration consistency and reusability.
• Integrate internal and third-party systems to support large-scale digital products.
• Build and maintain serverless applications using AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Fargate.
• Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CDK, and other CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to clarify and implement integration requirements.
• Contribute to DevOps initiatives and operational excellence across projects.
• Ensure integration solutions meet security, performance, and compliance standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience building backend systems using Node.js, Java, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of web security, authentication, and SSL best practices.
• Familiarity with AWS serverless architectures, event-driven design, and cloud-native patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Agile, DevOps, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with development and collaboration tools such as VS Code, IntelliJ, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
• Bonus: Background in enterprise integrations or data-driven infrastructure systems.
