The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced and adaptable HR Business Partner to join our growing team on a part-time basis (24 hours per week).

You’ll have the freedom to choose your hours across Monday to Thursday, working within our core business hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm.

This role is ideal for a confident HR professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work across multiple businesses, providing end-to-end HR support and strategic guidance.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with multiple client businesses to provide both day-to-day and strategic HR advice.
• Lead and deliver HR projects across areas such as policy development, employee relations, performance, and culture initiatives.
• Develop and implement tailored HR frameworks, contracts, and compliance documentation aligned with legislation and best practice.
• Provide practical, on-demand HR support, from guiding performance and disciplinary processes to conducting workplace investigations and mediation where required.
• Collaborate with business owners and leaders to strengthen engagement, performance, and leadership capability.
• Deliver simple, effective HR solutions that balance compliance, people outcomes, and commercial realities.
• Contribute to the continued growth and refinement of Niche HR’s consulting services.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 5 years’ experience in HR generalist or business partner roles.
• Background in HR consulting or experience supporting multiple client businesses (highly regarded).
• Strong knowledge of Fair Work, NES, and Australian employment law and best practice.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes with professionalism.
• A proactive, relationship-driven approach with strong organisational skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
