About St Patrick's Parish School

St Patrick's Parish School is a co-educational Kindergarten to Year 10 school situated within the Cooma township of New South Wales. About Cooma, NSW

Cooma is a key service town situated east of the Snowy Mountains, between Bega and Tumut. About the Role

Teachers foster a love of learning through creative teaching strategies and the effective use of diverse, engaging resources to make the curriculum meaningful and dynamic. This role involves delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining classroom routines, and supporting students to ensure a seamless and positive learning experience. Success in this position requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and a dedication to upholding the school’s values, contributing to a stable and supportive environment where students can thrive. Experience with High Impact Teaching Practices (HITP), Catalyst and the NESA Curriculum will be highly regarded.

Some appointments will be filled on a temporary basis to utilise teaching funding for the 2026 school year.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
