About the role

At KEIP, we're a leading commercial plumbing, gas, and filtration company based in Collie, WA, servicing the South West, Peel, Great Southern and Wheatbelt regions.

We provide high-quality plumbing, gas, and filtration services to government, mining, and agricultural clients, earning a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and exceptional workmanship.

With a team of 6 qualified plumbers, 1 apprentice, and 2 admin staff, and an annual turnover exceeding $2 million, we're now seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help us scale the business to $10 million and beyond.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee operations, lead our team, and drive efficiency through strong systems, processes, and structure. You'll work closely with the company director to manage day-to-day performance while implementing the tools and practices that support long-term growth.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and mentoring a team of field and office staff

Overseeing daily operations, scheduling, and resource management

Managing budgets, job costing, and financial reporting

Streamlining and improving business systems and workflows

Ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across all projects

Implementing and utilising platforms including Simpro, Xero, Excel, and SafetyCulture (iAuditor)

Supporting business strategy and contributing to company growth initiatives

What we're looking for:

Proven experience in an operations or management role, ideally within trades, construction, or service industries

Minimum 5-7 years of operations or management experience

Strong leadership and team management skills

Solid understanding of financials, job costing, and reporting

Proficiency with Simpro, Xero, Excel, and SafetyCulture

Expert/Admin level proficiency with Simpro software

Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities

A proactive, organised, and results-driven mindset

Australian work rights required

What's on offer:

$120,000 – $150,000 + Super, depending on experience

Full-time, permanent position based in Collie, WA
