About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pharmacist or Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Chermside shopping centre Amcal Pharmacy. This is a part-time position, primarily covering weekend shifts. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

What you'll be doing

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently

Provide professional advice and guidance to patients on the safe and appropriate use of medications

Assist in the preparation and compounding of pharmaceutical products

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care

Contribute to the overall management and operations of the pharmacy

What we're looking for

Registered Pharmacist or experienced Pharmacy Assistant with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical practices

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide personalized and empathetic care

Demonstrated expertise in medication dispensing, counselling, and administration

Proficient in the use of pharmacy software and technology

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
