Who are we seeking?

An energetic and positive professional ready to contribute to a collaborative and stimulating environment.

In this role you will bring your passion for working with children to provide quality education and care through play based learning. You will be a part of a team of dedicated educators to create a stimulating, positive and inclusive environment that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework whilst maintaining the elements of the National Quality Standards. You will be jointly responsible for contributing to observations, programming and supporting the children's learning outcomes, as well as building meaningful relationships with the children, their families and other educators, and be given opportunities to progress your career.

Essential attributes to the role:

Recognised Diploma Level Early Childhood Education & Care Qualification

A minimum of 2 years experience

A passion for providing quality early childhood curriculum for children

Be enthusiastic, motivated, professional, flexible, and reliable

You must be committed to your professional development (training programs, workshops and team networking are also provided)

Able to work collaboratively with a team of passionate, committed and highly driven educators

Knowledge and relevant skills in documenting children's learning through observations

Experience in planning and implementing a quality educational curriculum

Commitment to providing a child safe environment

Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Regulations and experience incorporating the outcomes, principles and practices into your practices and curriculum

Ability to form and maintain professional relationships with families, children and other Educators

Current WWC Check & First Aid certificate (we will pay for renewals)

Current Child Protection training

Leichhardt is an inner west suburb easily accessible by train (Lewisham train station), light rail and buses. We also have free street parking surrounding our Centre.
