About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Freedom Beyond Disability as a Client Services Coordinator. In this full-time role based in Alice Springs, NT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and coordination of services for clients with disabilities. Additionally, provide ongoing direction, guidance, and support to Support Workers, fostering the development of effective and well-trained teams equipped to meet client needs professionally and appropriately. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our clients receive the personalised care and assistance they need to live independently and thrive.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate and schedule client support services including personal care, domestic assistance, community access, and allied health services
Overseeing participant supports and outcomes through case management and maintaining accurate records and preparing clear reports
Build strong relationships with clients and their families to understand their unique needs and preferences
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of client services
Maintain detailed client records and documentation in line with organisational and regulatory requirements
Identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and propose process improvements
Provide compassionate support and advocacy for clients to empower them to live with dignity and independence
Assist with quality control maintenance, audit requirements and compliance regulations.
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years' experience in a client-facing role, preferably in the disability or aged care sector
Understanding of privacy and confidentiality when handling staff and client information
Demonstrated competency in data management and analytics including excellent written & verbal communication skills
Previous extensive experience in rostering or administration is preferred including a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
Excellent organisational and time management skills to juggle competing priorities
Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS and ability to navigate the system on behalf of clients
Empathetic and person-centred approach with a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives
Certificate IV in Individual Support, Community Services, or a related field
Certificate must include disability-specific components or demonstrate clear relevance to disability support services
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within the local area
Candidates with any type of Australian work rights will be considered for this position
Working with Vulnerable People check must be obtained within 3 months of commencement
