We have multiple vacancies for Support Workers, and Enrolled Nurses for clients based in Southport and Robina.

We are looking for people to join the team who have a genuine desire to help others and know that helping a client can be anything from shopping, cleaning, transport, meal preparation, personal care or whatever the client requests.

You will bring to the team your experience working with a range of clients across a range of ages and are comfortable working independently. You are solutions focused and professional, punctual and respectful.

You will have excellent communication skills, your own vehicle which is insured, and be available to work flexible hours to suit client needs. The hours of work will vary as each client has different needs. In general the shifts include 7.30am to 4.00pm, 4pm to 8pm and 8pm to 07.30am. This role will include 24 hour care and require the team member to complete inactive sleepovers. Travel is an expectation of the role and you may work autonomously on several occasions.

Qualifications & experience

You MUST hold the following:

Certificate III in Individual Support - Ageing/HACC/Disability or equivalent OR relevant industry experience and willing to be supported to gain a qualification

Blue Card/Yellow Card/Worker Screening Clearance

National Police clearance

First Aid and CPR

Be experienced in manual handling - eg: hoists, slide sheets

COVID Vaccinated

DESIRED to know: PEG feeding experience, OSTOMY Care

Enrolled Nurse MUST hold the following:

Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with no restrictions (ENs)

Diploma of Nursing (ENs)

minimum 6 months paid experience in aged care, disability, mental health community or acute care (may consider new graduate nurses with support worker background)

Enrolled Nurse must also be competent in wound care, evaluation of care plans, stoma and catheter care, administration of medications, liaising with GP's, Care Coordinators, RNs and allied health, providing direction and supervision to support workers
