A Boutique Accounting Firm based in North Sydney are on the look out for a Business Services Manager, managing a portfolio of clients from end to end with Partnership pathway available for the right candidate!

This is an excellent opportunity for a well established Supervisor looking to step up to Management or a Manager to join a growing, close-knit Accounting Practice. With much of the compliance work offshored, this role would be well suited to someone looking to act within an Advisory capacity. Duties include but are not limited to:

Management of workflow for both onshore and offshore Accounting staff, reviewing of work and ensuring deadlines are met.

Acting as the main point of contact for clients, working closely with them to troubleshoot complex tax matters and provide a range of advisory services that fall outside of traditional business advisory including estate planning, corporate advisory, R&D grants and more!

Preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, bookkeeping and BAS.

Assist in training and development of junior staff members, ensuring that your own and the teams tax knowledge is up to date.

Supporting the Partner with onboarding new clients, building and maintaining strong relationships too.

About You:

5+ years' experience working in Australian Public Practice, ideally working closely with clients as a main point of contact.

Experience managing a team of Accountants, huge bonus if you have worked with a team overseas.

CA or CPA Qualified.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to think outside of the box and provide advice on a range of matters.
