Your new role:

You'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical care to patients under the supervision of the Consultant Nephrologist, while developing your clinical skills in renal and internal medicine.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing inpatient and outpatient care within the Department of Nephrology, ensuring accurate documentation and timely escalation of patient concerns.
  • Participating in ward rounds, case reviews and emergency responses, ensuring comprehensive and person-centred care.
  • Supervising and supporting junior medical officers, medical students, and allied health colleagues in a collaborative environment.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development through clinical meetings, audits, and case presentations.

About you:

You're a dedicated and motivated medical professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is eager to expand your expertise in nephrology. You demonstrate a patient-centred approach, strong clinical judgement, and a commitment to continuous learning and teamwork.

We're looking for someone who can:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality care to nephrology and general medicine patients, ensuring accurate assessment, diagnosis and management.
  • Build effective working relationships with consultants, junior doctors, nursing, and allied health teams to support cohesive multidisciplinary care.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and integrity under pressure, maintaining excellent clinical documentation and communication standards.
  • Show initiative in professional development, actively seeking feedback, attending training, and contributing to teaching and quality improvement.
