For over 10 years, Glasshaus has been providing beautiful botanical venues for corporate and private events as well as weddings. All based in Richmond, our three venues Glasshaus “Inside”, “Outside” and our new venue “Brucke” provide a stunning backdrop for Melburnians to celebrate. We are looking for dynamic and dedicated people to join our team.

The role:

The role will provide support to the business director by ensuring that the events are coordinated, and operations are executed seamlessly.

As a Senior Event Manager you will:

Facilitate the coordination of social, corporate events, and weddings.

Efficient operations management for events, including maintaining suitable levels of staff throughout set up, execution, and pack down of events.

Develop Event Orders, run sheets, floorplans, and all other materials required for events.

Respond promptly to event enquiries

Conduct site visits with potential clients and follow up with quotes

Conduct detail meetings clients to plan their events

Communicate event details to relevant departments

Working in cohesion with the Event Supervisor to deliver events on the day

Promptly respond to all client emails and communications

Collaborate and work in conjunction with key suppliers

Participating in team meetings and work closely with our existing Events team

To be considered you will have:

5+ years’ experience coordinating events

Excellent client relationship and communication skills

Attention to detail

Effective time management skills

A passion for events with a can do attitude

A background in hospitality

This is a full-time role, you must be available and willing to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays
