We are seeking an experienced Splunk Specialist to join a high-profile project with a leading multinational mining client. This is a critical role focused on enhancing and expanding the client's existing Splunk observability platform, with opportunities to influence the future roadmap across ITSI, AIOps, and ITSM domains.

Contract role: July 2026
Hybrid Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to the strategic expansion of the Splunk platform.
• Provide expert-level Splunk support, including architecture, implementation, and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system observability and operational insights.
• Ensure best practices are followed for data ingestion, dashboard creation, and alerting.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on observability-related initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working with Splunk in large-scale environments.
• Deep understanding of observability concepts, including log aggregation, metrics, and tracing.
• Strong ability to lead design discussions and articulate technical ideas clearly.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience in expanding and scaling enterprise Splunk environments.

Desirable (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to or interest in Splunk ITSI, AIOps, or ITSM implementations.
• Previous experience in the mining, resources, or other large enterprise sectors.
