About the role

Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead the team in Ward F9, specialising in General Medicine, Renal and Respiratory care.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the efficient management of nursing and related staff, ensuring the coordination and delivery of high-quality patient care. You will provide strong clinical and operational leadership, foster collaboration between multidisciplinary teams, and oversee the environmental and work health and safety management of the unit.

Clinician engagement and leadership are key priorities across the public health system. The Northern NSW Local Health District is committed to empowering clinicians to lead safety, quality and service improvements, ensuring that staff directly involved in patient care have a strong voice in planning, delivery and evaluation of health services.
