Environment Coordinator
Tenure: Full time / Permanent
Location: Echuca
Remuneration: $105,933.65 to $118,680.93 + superannuation & leave loading
Are you passionate about driving sustainability and environmental change?
Campapse Shire is seeking an Environment Coordinator, who will lead and coordinate Council’s environmental management, climate adaptation and mitigation, and sustainability initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will help shape and deliver impactful programs, policies, and action plans that align with both Council and community priorities—including our ambitious goal to achieve net zero emissions across Council operations by 2035.
To be successful for this role you will require:
- Tertiary Degree in Sustainability, Climate Change, Environmental Science or related field with relevant experience, or lesser formal qualification with extensive relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in an environment/sustainability leadership role within a multi-functional environment.
- Knowledge and experience in the range of natural resource management issues relevant to the role including biodiversity management, climate change adaptation and mitigation.
- Familiarity with relevant sustainability frameworks, standards, and certifications.
- Victorian Working with Children Check and Valid National Police Check.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
