Maryland Care and Early Education Centre is a community based not for profit service who has been operating in the local community for nearly 40 years.

We offer a flexible routine allowing children to chose from our indoor/outdoor program throughout the day.

We are an all-weather service where we encourage children to play in all types of weather to explore a range of different elements within the environment.

We venture out into the local community visiting the reserve that backs onto the centre and the local shops that are just down the road.

As a valued team member, you will:

· Create engaging, age-appropriate programs based on children's interests and developmental needs

· Foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

· Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF)

· Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all children in your care

Essential Criteria:

· Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is the minimum qualification accepted for this role

· Working with Children Check (WWCC)

· Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificates (HLTAID012 or equivalent)

· Sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and child safety principles

· Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills

· Minimum of 1 year experience in programming and planning within early childhood settings

· Passion for early childhood education and ongoing professional development
