Employment Type: Part-Time (Approx. 30 hours per week)
Hours: 5:00–8:00am & 4:00–7:00pm Mon–Thurs | 5:00–10:00am Fri | 6:00–9:00am Sat

Now, we’re looking for a Member Experience & Community Officer (MECO) someone who thrives on structure, loves people, and wants to be part of something meaningful.
About the Role
This role is perfect for someone who’s organised, outgoing, tidy and genuinely passionate about community, health & fitness.
Whether you’re studying, considering a future in the wellness industry, or simply looking for a role that lets you make a real impact this position offers hands-on experience in member care, communication, events, and brand experience.
You’ll be the face of the studio greeting members, celebrating wins, building connections, and ensuring every visit feels (and is) like a 5-star experience.
Key Responsibilities
Member Experience & Retention
Greet, farewell & connect with members by name
Celebrate birthdays, milestones & personal wins
Conduct in-class orientations & goal check-ins
Log CRM notes and track attendance trends
New Member Onboarding
Make welcome calls & prepare welcome kits
Pair new members with a buddy & ensure smooth transitions
Proactively follow up on no-shows and non-attendance
Community & Events
Plan and deliver monthly social events
Coordinate our bi-annual charity events
Build positive relationships within and beyond the studio
Social Media & Content
Capture stories and class highlights
Tag members & showcase the community culture
Front of House Operations
Manage retail & merchandise
Support towel hire, customer service & small admin duties
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Is highly organised, reliable, and detail-focused
Has strong people skills. Must be out-going, warm, confident, and authentic
Is drama-free, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, positive team
Tidy and appreciates the 1%'s.
Ability to follow directions easily
Has an interest in or alignment with the health, fitness, and wellness industry
Communicates clearly & takes pride in delivering a premium experience
Is social-media savvy and enjoys creating content that captures real community moments
