Warehouse Storeperson

Our company is a growing national Importer / Retailer of both heavy and light machinery including generators, compressors and industrial plant. We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Warehouse Storeperson to offer reliable support in our Brisbane Warehouse.

Our Expectations:

• The position requires you to be highly organized, reliable and proficient in carrying out warehouse duties and general organization of the store
• Your position requires proficiency in warehouse and distribution operations, good Stock Management and excellent housekeeping skills
• Assist coordination of local and national freight with freight companies including receiving and dispatching of stock
• Loading and unloading of trucks using your forklift skills is essential
• Unloading of sea containers using your forklift skills is essential
• High Reach Truck experience with double deep pallet racking
• Regular stock taking procedures will be required
• Liaise with workshop staff to manage a wide range of consumables
• Must have good computer literacy with high level of data entry accuracy
• Physically fit and able to safely lift up to 30kg
• Willingness to help out with generator & compressor pre delivery tasks from time to time
• Some customer service and sales will be required from time to time
• A current Forklift Operator’s License and experience is essential to this position
• A current driver's license is also essential

This position will be a full-time permanent position after successful completion of a three (3) month probation period. Wages and benefits will be commensurate with experience.
