About the role

We are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our logistics team at Absorb Environmental Solutions' warehouse facility in Wacol, Queensland. This full-time role is essential in maintaining the efficient and organised functioning of our busy distribution centre. As the Storeperson, you will play a crucial part in our organisation's ability to deliver high-quality products and services to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Receiving, unpacking and inspecting incoming stock deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality

Accurately picking, packing and dispatching customer orders using a range of materials handling equipment

Maintaining the warehouse in a clean, safe and organised condition

Assisting with inventory control and cycle counting procedures

Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Contributing to the continuous improvement of warehouse operations and systems

Manual handling of stock including unpacking containers

Warehouse 2IC

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Storeperson or similar role in a warehouse or distribution environment

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency

Proficiency in the use of materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and trolleys

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers

A keen eye for problem-solving and a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

A current forklift licence and manual drivers' licence is essential

Comfort learning to use new computer software
