HC Truck Driver - Metro (Perth)

We're currently seeking HC Truck Drivers to join one of our national clients based out of their Kewdale depot. This role involves metro deliveries and collections of empty pallets - ideal for a driver who's energetic, reliable, and enjoys an active day.

About the role

• Start date: ASAP
• Hours: Approx. 10-12 hours per day, starting between 5 AM-7 AM
• Roster: Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work as required

You'll be:

• Completing local metro runs, delivering and collecting empty pallets from customer sites
• Using a forklift to move and load pallets (LF licence highly desirable)
• Handling load restraint, throwing straps, and securing freight
• Conducting pre-start checks and managing delivery paperwork via on-site sign-in systems
• Operating safely and efficiently within customer and depot procedures

What you'll need

• Current HC licence with a minimum of 2 years' recent HC driving experience (essential)
• Experience operating HC-sized vehicles in metro environments
• LF licence and forklift experience (highly desirable)
• National Police Check and Driver History Report (essential)
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing and a functional capacity assessment
• Comfortable with basic technology (handhelds, site sign-in apps)
• Able to meet the physical demands of the role including repetitive manual handling tasks such as throwing straps, load restraint and some handling of pallets.
• Ability to work full time hours plus overtime weekly on an ongoing basis, therefore NO restrictions to working rights in Australia.
